Most electronic equipment these days is not user-serviceable, and attempts should not be made by the user to open up the components and try to fix them. A trained video equipment service provider can evaluate your malfunctioning video equipment to determine what the problem is, and if it's repairable. Sometimes, especially with older video equipment, parts are no longer available, or it wouldn't be cost effective to repair the unit, and replacement will be recommended.
